Hot hot heat.
So I'm back home now, in Cowra at the moment and loving the awesome weather. So far i have checked off a few things on my to-do list, namely going to Barmuda in Newtown for breakfast and coffee. Actual coffee. In a cup, not a can. Ace. Dad has already cranked up the BBQ and right now it't about 8.30pm and the sun is just going down. Im really fucking tired and so happy to be home. So so happy.
A few things I have learned so far:
1. If you toddler is crying and screaming hold his nose so he can't breath through it.
2. If this doesn't work, put your finger in his mouth and pull his lips.
3. Bending balloons is fucking lame-ass mid flight entertainment.
4. Finally, roll the inflight magazine up and slap his face. This is totally appropriate and normal.
5. Apparently Korea doesn't have DOCS.
(All of the above thanks to the crazy Korean mum in seat 31D)
6. That annoying style of sleeping that Japanese people indulge in on the train is also quite popular when flying. You know the one where their heads fall to the side just enough to touch yur shoulder and annoy the shit out of you and then it totally bounces back only to start wandering all over again.
7. That the end of the Da Vinci code is dumb. Totally glad that my pseudo-attention-defficit-disorder led to me only wasting 16 hours with the audiobook instead of actually reading it.
Word.
